all the information is mentioned. Chief constable Wim Geens explaines in Passe-Partout
what the purpose is of the 11 led displays on Martrock. The led displays
are wireless programmed via mobile data modem from the coordination cell.
In crowded places or by incidents the best taken directions are displayed
on the displays. Also the visitors who are not familiar in Leuven could
find the "Vismarkt" very quickly. Bart Vanhellemont, journalist
of "Het Nieuwsblad" put it to the test: "We tried the
direction indications mentioned on the led displays, together with
thousands of others. With them we could experience that we were on the
"Layensplein" within 10 minutes. |
