The
Discrete Input Interface shows messages on Daylight Led Displays in a
simple and cost-effective manner. The Discrete Input Interface accepts
input from photoelectric cells, limit switches, proximity sensors, PLC I/O
blocks, relays, pushbuttons, closed contacts or any discrete, BCD, binary,
or up-and-down counter or sensor.
Users create and download custom
messages into Daylight marquees using the remote control or the Messaging
software. The Discrete Input Interface then triggers the appropriate
message when the corresponding input on the Discrete Input Interface is
closed.
The
Discrete Input Interface connects to as many 32 contacts in blocks of 8
inputs. The interface simply mounts on a standard 35mm DIN rail and is
easily connected to power, contacts and RS485 serial communicatiobs to the
Daylight marquees.
