So
how does it actually work? Once the Daylight SMS Led Displays have been
set up and are operational, any visitor to the event in question can use
his mobile to send an SMS message that is received on the Daylight SMS
modem (via the provider’s SMS exchange). This message is then read out
by our SMS Studio software and transmitted via SMS Lightwave software to
the first Daylight Led Display. The visitor who sent the message thus sees
his SMS message appear on the Led Display. The number of Led Displays will
determine how many SMS messages can be displayed simultaneously, and how
fast the next SMS messages can appear.
The
Daylight SMS Led Display is available in versions suitable for use indoors
or outdoors, and in various different dimensions.
For
outdoor events, we have developed various different packages. A basic
set-up consists of two red Led Displays measuring 6 m by 50 cm. The top
display is used to show the mobile number to which text messages should be
sent, and sponsors’ information or ads. The bottom display is used to
show the SMS messages. The number of Led Displays can be increased up to a
maximum of 12. The big advantage for the organisers is that their sponsors
remain in the public eye the whole time on the top Led Display , because
people keep looking up at the bottom Led Display to read the messages.
We
can also supply scaffolding and truss constructions from which, if
necessary, sponsors’ banners can be hung to provide a more attractive
overall backdrop at events.
For
large indoor events and technoparties, the same Led Displays are used.
There is an infinite variety of permutations.
For
smaller events, use can be made of the 9200 Led Displays, with a character
height of 25 cm and available in three colours. These can be easily read
at distances of up to 60 m. We are happy to talk about the possibility of
supplying other types of Led Display, too.
